Code: ID_401

1.1 Thematic fields:

11 Main Sciences: Mathematics

1.2 Abstract:

This proposal refers to a series of actual research subjects in the field of international literature relating media with microstructure, mixtures of materials and some dynamical systems, such as spin-orbit models. The objectives of the project are to obtain results concerning the following topics: existence and continuous dependence of weak solutions, existence of strong solutions using the potential method, uniqueness and stability in the nonlinear theory of materials with microstructure, spatial behaviour in the presence of thermal and electromagnetic effects, ill posed problems, cartographic studies of the phase space of spin-orbit systems by using numerical tools. One intend to develop a soft for integrating numerically the dynamical systems addressed, discriminating between the regular orbits and the chaotic ones and for studying the phase space by emphasizing the regular, chaotic and resonant associated regions. Based on new results obtained by the project manager, the members of the proposal, as well as by the recognized mathematicians in homeland and in the wide word, one expects to obtain scientific results of international level, publishable in specific journals with high impact factor. Early stage researches have stipulated objectives of high scientific level and they will be strongly supervised by the project manager. The objectives of the present project represent some chapters from the ph. Degree theses which they will develop. The addressed research domain is very dynamic and it has numerous practical applications in engineering, construction industry, celestial mechanics, dynamical astronomy, medicine, biology, chemistry.
