On this page we describe the Education and Outreach activities to be carried out during the IAUS 364 “Multi-scale (time and mass) dynamics of space objects” symposium.
We will organize popular lectures on dynamics of celestial bodies for the general public. These events will summarize the main findings and challenges in the field.
From 7 to 9 July 2020, daily presentations addressed to pupils and students will be organized at the local Planetarium. The presentations will provide a description of the bright stars and constellations that will be observable on the night of the visit, the real and apparent motion of the planets, an introduction in Astrometry, several astronomical phenomena, such as: the formation of seasons, the formation of climatic zones, equinoxes, solstices, the precession of the equinoxes, etc.
More information on the Education and Outreach activities will be available soon.
