About
September 1900 marks the publication of Tome I, I-er fascicule, of the journal entitled Annales Scientifiques de l’Université de Jassy, devoted to the publication of papers written by University professors.
In 1955, the name of the journal was changed into Analele Științifice ale Universității „Alexandru Ioan Cuza” of Iași (Scientific Annals of Alexandru Ioan Cuza University of Iași) and it then included a section for Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry, issuing a volume with two fascicles per year. In 1964 each domain gets a separate section in the journal and in 1996 a new section on Computer Sciences is created.
Nowadays, the policy of publishing only original scientific papers on all mathematical areas is still preserved. A paper is accepted for publication only after being reviewed by romanian and international experts, eventually, approved by the Editorial Board.
The journal is published on a regular basis, one volume with two issues per year.
