Academic Background
I graduated in Mathematics (Research Section) from Alexandru Ioan Cuza University of Iasi in 1993, receiving a Diploma of Merit.
Since 1994, I have been a faculty member at the Faculty of Mathematics, where I currently hold the position of Professor.
I obtained my Ph.D. in Mathematics in 1998 from Babes-Bolyai University, Cluj-Napoca, with the thesis
Contributions to the Study of the Heart Structure of Hypergroups,
supervised by Prof. Dr. Ioan Purdea.
I have carried out extensive international research activity, supported by several competitive research grants in Italy, awarded by the Italian National Research Council (CNR) and INdAM.
